World oldest pot stash found.

Nearly two pounds of still-green Marijuana was material found in a 2,700-year-old grave in the Gobi Desert. It´s apparently the world's oldest marijuana stash.

I wonder if they can sell it for more as the two bottles of the world's oldest Champagne, which spent about 170 years at the bottom of the ocean, sold for 54,000 euros ($78,400) at an auction in Finland.

That would be some shit worth trying🙂

Unlikely, it says that the weed wouldn't be potent at this point due to decomposition.

there are sources indicating that weed (hemp, they purposefully destroyed the female plants) has been grown in China for... iirc 5000+ years

but yes, I would smoke the hell out of this, screw if it gets you high

Even if the THC was preserved, the amount of THC in weed was really low until after the 60s when growers started crossbreeding to maximize THC. So practically speaking, you may as well gather some leaves from an oak or maple outside, grind them up, and have yourself a good playing pretend session.

But those don't have any THC.
