DC, for obvious reasons. If my life starts sucking, I can always take solace in the fact that it'll be retconned in a few years.

C'mon, I get nothing for this? uhuh

I'M INSECURE, MAN! CAN'T YOU TELL?!

Doom Sinister or Luthor. Sinister with a cosmic cube would be very quick to create perfect people/as close to perfect as possible and if he screws it up cosmic cube makes it so it never happened. Latveria was crime free and basically perfect so Doom is a good choice and Luthor is just egotistical but not inherently malicious. If Luthor ruled you'd probably just have to attend the church of Luthor once a day and continue with your daily lives. So top of my list is actually Sinister cause I'd get superpowers. Doom would be next as he'd create a practical utopia and Luthor 3rd. The others I don't want to consider without being in specific subgroups that make me not on their to kill/maim/torture list. Joker Legion Carnage and Skull are probably worst possible.

Imagine Marvel or DC Earth if each of these guys had obtained the the fully-powered Cosmic Cube and gained full mastery of it. Then imagine that they had disposed of all superhuman opposition, either by destroying them or controlling them completely. There is no one and nothing left to oppose them in any way, ever:

1) Red Skull
2) Joker
3) Carnage
4) Insane Legion
5) Doom
6) Lex Luthor
7) Magneto
8) Ultron
9) Sinister
10) Dracula
11) Apocalypse
12) Bullseye

Which worlds do you think you would survive best in? Or actually like?

Which would be your last pick to live in? There are probably a few where you would end up enslaved, tortured, or killed, but for you which would be the absolute worst world to end up?

magneto is the obvious choice as a benevolent dictator who would elimate most social and environmental problems while being comparatively less restrictive of individual and colective liberties than the other more tolerable ones - the narcisists like doom and luthor would probably force humanity to nonstop worship them, doom might wipe out free will altogether.

legion might do ok too, but he doesnt need a cosmic cube

evereyone else would turn the world into sewage

Dooms world without any doubt. He may be a "bad guy" but he is also a great ruler. Look at how latveria was. He maybe a strict ruler but if you follow his rules it will piratically be paradise!
people are seriously overestimating doom's benevolence and underestimating his pettiness and narcisism. portrayals vary a lot, but latveria is sometimes shown as miserable and doom as hated, he frequently speaks of crushing everyone's spirits so they all worship him too

How is that any different from Modern America?

Well i think id be killed for sure in #'s 3,7,8,11,12. In #'s 1,5,6,9,10 i assume id be enslaved whether alive or dead. and id probably be used in sick experiments in #'s 2,4,12. Soooo.....i think ill actually go into Lexs' universe. More chance of having a semi normal life...

magneto for sure...i would be a happy camper if i got turned into a mutant...superpowers for the win

But Drac would be your preferred? hmm, scary.

Drac will create a Vampire paradise. No more prejudice, yay. Ocean's will turn into blood blah blah.

Life will be good and everybody will live forever.

I wondered if some of these guys would "step up" once they got the power. Remember that Doom was showing some signs of greater benevolence when he gained the power of Beyonder - or at least showing no interest in harming the average person. Likewise in the MOD story he realized he was now above his old concerns. Some of these guys might have the character to genuinely grow beyond their evil ways.

I wanted to put Kingpin in too but I forgot. He's another one where I thought - what would he actually do if given absolute power over the earth? Surely some of these guys would no longer be interested in criminal ways.

I also wondered if insane Legion would have enough mental faculties to cure himself using the cube, rather than go completely nuts with it. Is there any tiny part of Bullseye that might wish he could be a 'normal' guy, have a real relationship etc? Or does he just enjoy being crazy too much.

I remember there was like some parade in Latveria. Doom says "the 1st one that stop clapping, kill them" lol

yes, portrayals vary with them, perhaps doom would fulfill his fantasy of leading a reed richards like life, married to sue and having surpassed his rival. but even more showings indicate he'd be an *******

legion would be ok depending on the cycle of personalities he manifests. the thing is that he already has the power to cure himself, he just cant get his mind to do it

bullseye is an unrepetent sadist, he doesnt think theres anything wrong with himself
