Jackie Chan>Chuck Norris.

Probably not.

In their primes Chuck would almost certainly rock Chan.

Please. Norris does not have the sheer balls to do half the things Chan has done.

Norris borrowed his balls from Iron Balls McGinty.

SIR! YOU ARE TALKING TO A N***ER!

Edit: link fixed.

Yeah but just a lil sense would say that if its not then its close to what they say. Charizard melting almost anything is true for nearly all materials on Earth. Tyranitar's part is covered by Aura's post and that the thing take hits from others of its kind aka other mountain level mons. And Machamp, besides being around other mountain level mons, there's no reason for a scientist in their field to state something that hasn't been documented/sighted/confirmed or isn't highly plausible based on what they know. (Like with irl tungsten, was listed as the highest melting point of any material, later changed to say one of the highest. Were even official documents saying that nothing is faster than light.)

And teh Mon's win.

Chuck's record in tournaments is far more impressive though.

Yes, I said that. But, plenty of things are exaggerated in fiction. I.e reacting to lightning is an exaggerated claim.

Thing is, these claims are not being backed up with anything at all, not even in fiction. And if that isn't enough, they contradict each other.

You flat out said "Strong=Hyperbole". Considering you're only arguing against entries that make Pokemon seem strong, yes, you appear very biased. Add on top of the fact that you consider the Pokedex, a very important encylcopedia on the information of Pokemon, to be shit, and you look very anti-Pokemon.

For example:

Bulbasaur: "A strange seed was planted on its back at birth. The plant sprouts and grows with this Pokémon. "

You're not arguing against that Pokedex entry. Why?

Because that is at least backed up by the fact that Bulbasaur actually possess a ''seed'' on its back. The event is still unrelated, though, but it's irrelevant. And no, I'm not biased at all.

2 things:

Words like destroy, kill, rape, etc are used without literal meaning backing them all the time.

Armies destroy things right? Unless you, pfft, defend yourself. haermm

Exactly, that's why they are also hyperbole.

Really?

Bulbasaur: "A strange seed was planted on its back at birth. The plant sprouts and grows with this Pokémon."

Accurate and has a basis in fact. So the Pokedex has more going for it than your entire argument. 😛

Yes, really. I never said all of its content.

I cannot find Chan's record. Still Chan's stunts>

I do agree with the notion that Norris > Chan. Haters gonna hate. Both are great at what they do though.

That said, they should've made a Hitmonnorris pokemon since they came up with Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. >:

Well obviously Lee>both of them. I mean that goes without saying.

But, Chan> Norris.

Yeah. At least Chuck managed to put up the best fight against Lee in Bruce's Return of the Dragon movie though, despite losing.

Could care less about who has the better stunts. If Chuck's got the better tournament records, then it's more or less proof enough that he is in fact > Chan. I do give Chan credit for having the much better cartoon series of himself, though.

Yugi has a better Tournament record than Kaiba or Joey. Because he is a cheater. 😖hifty:

Not to mention the fact that martial artists don't actually need to enter tournaments. Mr. Miyagi didn't and yet he was clearly the strongest character in that series by far. 😛

I don't think Yu-Gi-Oh's the best example here, considering what we're talking about, but okay.

Yeah, they don't really need to enter tournaments, but Chuck and Jackie both still have regardless at some point, with Norris apparently coming off with the better records, so no sense in trying to downplay that.

Depends on the amount of tournaments they have entered. 😮

Hitmonnorris and Hitmonsegal?

Pokemon in a stomp.

in god of war novel there are magic called atlas' quake, that magic enough to shake the entire world

Means little.
