Kazuya Mishima vs Shang Tsung

Despite being a total hardass (as well as being the winner of the World's Worst Dad Award for about 5 years), Kazuya still has a soft spot for Jun.

Despite the rumors that were flying around, Kazuya did not rape Jun. In both their defenses, they were very, very drunk following the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 (mixing sake with Grey Goose is a bad idea).

So when Shang Tsung decides to target Jun for her soul, Kazuya comes to her aid. Upon arriving at Jun's home in Yakushima, he finds Jin and Jun beaten, and Shang preparing to take their souls.

One laser blast to the back pretty much wreck Shang's plans. Eventhough Jin won't admit it to anyone, including his mother, he is happy to see his old man.

Shang bounces back from the laser blast and sees that the father is much stronger than the son. The power of the Light and Darkness...now that is something that Shang can fall behind on.

Kazuya is in for the fight of his life.

Shang Tsung's essence powered Sindel up, but he was ass with his own power(rofl)

Agreed that Kazuya wins based on feats, but how is the other ass with his own power? 😕 He's got his moments/victories, just not so much in MK9, like most of the bad guys in that game's story. I would argue that he's done better things than just powering up Sindel, but that's beside the point here I suppose.
