Code Geass

Are we talking about the same Ohgi? Because the Ohgi I know isn't just fairly dumb. He is borderline ****ing retarded. Hell, whenever he is in command, it's pretty obvious shit can't get done, so why Zero put him as second in command is beyond me.

My annoyance with him comes from when they

Spoiler:
betrayed Zero.
For two reasons:

Spoiler:
1. They don't know what a Geass is. Schneizel could have made up any word, or hell, he could use a foreign word for masturbate, shit, cum, whatever the hell and the Black Knights wouldn't know the difference. This guy, YOUR ENEMY, comes to you claiming your boss is controlling you with something you just heard about? Bull-fvcking-shit. Are you kidding me? Oh, it's okay though. He has a recording of Zero saying mean things. It's not like those can be faked or anything. You can't just get a voice actor to impersonate Zero or anything. No! That would be ridiculous! I mean, this is OUR ENEMY! Of course he can be trusted guys! Oh, he killed people huh? I suppose no one remembers that the people he killed were practicing supernatural shit and were loyal to Britannia.

2. Ohgi, being the stupid shit that he is, completely buys it because Villeta says so. Because when it comes down to it, the guy who brought you victory after victory, helped create a nation to save your home, and basically trusted you with as much info as you needed, doesn't hold a candle to the b!tch THAT SHOT YOU. Clearly her word is vastly better than his in every way.

I hate Ohgi so much. He is shit.

Spoiler:
And that was punny Neph.

Yeah, ok then, he's bumped up to really dumb status. I myself RAGED over the spoilered bit when it came up but its not like Zero is an especially trustworthy guy at that point. He did run away in the most important fight ever and let the Black Knights get the butt**** kicked out of them and then returned with the crappy excuse that 'it was necessary'. And he had been acting especially irrational and crazed for a while. At least they showed Ohgi starting to doubt Zero for some time.

Though it was seriously Zero's own fault for giving actual power to a person meant to be the figurehead as the 'normal' guy in the group. He should have known he can't make good decisions.

Spoiler:
It was a punny, but was it a..... 'Nun'ally?

Dude was retarded.

I don't think I left anything out. I was pretty mad earlier so I had to get it all out. 😆

Yeah, I agree. Lelouch could have come up with a tiny bit better of an excuse. But I mean, Ohgi was doubting him long before then. He rescued Villeta just because she said the word Zero. He was pretty ready to betray him from the get go just because he was suspicious. Even though Kirihara says Zero could be completely trustworthy, he still doubts him. Douche.

Oh but you know, I just realized something else. Okay, assuming they believed

Spoiler:
Schneizel about the Geass.
Let's just say they had some convincing and legitimate proof. They didn't, but let's say they did. One question: If Zero could pretty much force anyone into forming an army under his control, why would he bother saving you guys? He pretty much saved all the Black Knights single-handily. But he wouldn't have to if he could make an army whenever he wanted. And he could.

Well Ohgi is pretty damn stupid however he hasn't done "kill hundreds of people stuff like Nunally has right? How do we chalk that up exactly?

Yeah, Nunally firing those FLEA bombs was pretty 'blind' on her part. But she is really young and inexperienced.

Nunally was actually planning to do what Lelouch did. I.e turn themselves into a symbol of hatred(or in her case, Damocles) and then get rid of it to ensure world peace. When Lelouch realized this, he had to stop her so he could do it.

Or at least, that is what it seemed.

Any Orange lovers here? I got a friend who really love Jeremiah as one of the best character in the series.

The Ova is out

is it any good?

1st minute:

Suzaku wanting to work with Brittannia just became a lot less defensible.

The a8ove link is 8roken into multiple videos. Here is the uncut version.

It also has a second episode.

*8rittannia

** 8ecame

Nope, second ep hasn't been released yet, isn't a vid on that site

On another note, I actually found that quite enjoyable, the preview for the next ep was pretty interesting also

Spoiler:
Suzaku and C.C.!!!

It was good, not great. Not as good as the original's first hour.

Good: I like Leila(she will be my favorite character probably), Akito is okay(if a bit generic), and Xin is in the same vein. Johan was awesome in how despicable he is. The mood and atmosphere is all good and the story certainly feels like Geass.

Bad: While it may feel like Geass, it kinda runs the Legend of Korra problem in that I'm afraid it'll coast of the success of the old show with fanservicy parts. And here we're just kinda thrown into the action, whereas before Lelouch, the main character the audience is supposed to follow, stumbles into it all, with it capping off that there would be more interesting things to see. The original just seemed more polished but hopefully this is a problem that won't persist.

Neutral: The action. Don't like it as much as the original but for some reason can't find myself hating it, even though I do think the CG is jarring.

Still liked it overall.

Yeah, I dislike CG scenes in general. It's too jarring, just doesn't contrast well with the animation.

Akito: 😖mirking: 'If you want a place for Elevens will you create a country for them?'

Zero creates a country for Elevens

Akito: 'Well shit.'

Anyway, pretty cool. I agree with Aura on all points. Akito was good, looking forward to Leila, don't really care for how much focus is put on Japanese and Oriental characters. I know it's a Japanese show, 8ut still. I guess all the competence from Japan was in Europe in Geass.

This show takes place during the year after the Black Rebellion was defeated, right? It should be nice to see Suzaku during his glory days as a Knight of the Round.

I'm wondering...

Spoiler:
Does Xins Geass have the same ability as Lelouch? If so, it would explain Akito wanting to die.. Xin may have put him under the same "Live" command as Suzaku

Spoiler:
It looked like he had the same geass as Lelouch, but I hope its something different. Would demean Lelouch's geass and I don't think we ever saw 2 users of the same Geass. I was getting the whole Suzaku "live" geass from Akito.

I'm looking forward to seeing more from the Knights of the Round, especially those we didn't get to see in action in the original show.
