During his Spotlight Comic he has a much better fight with the dinobots and wins again.

He takes on the autobot Fortress Maximus, the dude's pretty tough. Shockwave was winning at first but...what can I say?

This fight seems kinda "off" to me but he beats Optimus.

This fight with Scorponok is very questionable. He was crushed with over 400 tons of wreckage but he rose up and actually beat Shockwave. Hats off to him.

The Shockwave portrayed in the movie DOTM was incredibly underrated, he did not live up to the cartoon and comic versions. The original was on par with Megatron and Optimus Prime and could even defeat them on a good day. Keep in mind that both have been stated to lift 1,000 tons +

Very nice! I have a thing for under-rated characters and Shockwave never got the respect he deserved.

I still cannot believe he beat the entire Dinobot team, not once but twice!

I quickly ran through DC besides tricking everyone and geting an upgrade for a short time he didnt fight much.
He whooped on Megatron ,Magnus and Optimus but he was leeching energy from a Universe so that shouldnt be much of a feat.

I still liked how he had started putting things into motion with the various ore's he planted throughout the universe, Without the rest the Decepticon's knowing.

There's a origin that they did for the Shockwave with the IDW comics, "Robots in Disguise" #17, Shows how he was a senator

Its a good read showing him upgrading bots who he thought had a good character, including Orion Pax to carry the Matrix. Eventually the ones in control had enough of his input so they did a thing on him called Empurata
