Tony wasn't an ass in the movies infact he seemed like an incredibly cool guy.
Hal's durability blows (except when making a concentrated shield and even then we have no idea how strong it was)
That chain gun thing hal made, IM would have walked through that with zero problem.
All the weapons stark has, lasers that can cut through military battle mechs and mini missiles that can blow up tanks. Hal is toast. By the time Hal thinks of something amazing, he will have lost already.
