I'm saying it wouldn't be a stomp. We all know who wins that fight, I'm not disputing an outcome. I'm disputing that there's a big gap between them in the majority of circumstances. The things that most separate Hal and Kyle from the others are versatility feats. If we're trading blows with Power Girl, Guy is pretty much identical to what you think Hal would bring. Yes, we know Hal has better feats, even in the raw power department, but we're talking about small degrees of separation, not massive ones.

So if you think Hal takes 10/10 from PG, as I'm sure most people do, the drop for Guy would be, at worst, down to 8-9/10. I only used Soranik because it's another "named" Lantern that isn't one of the Big 3. The same logic applies to, say, John, Wog, Guy, etc.

Hal is the ueber Lantern. He is like a Halk 😄. No other lantern could have do this Krona thing.

Hal against PG? 6-7/10 these days.

Superman/Hal/WW/MM/CM should be on the same level, and their "lesser" versions should also be similary powerful to each other respectively.

Supergirl/Powergirl/Kyle/Guy/Donna/maybe Miss M./Freddy/Mary

Edit: I forgot the Marvel Family 🙂.

Plus, Power Girl once slept with Hal. Who knows how that would change things... mmm

Not disputing Hal > Guy. Few would. I just think PG's a notch below any Lantern that's worth their salt. The difference between PG and Hal is larger than between Hal and other competent Lanterns. Any of the B-list Laterns I mentioned, I would give at least 8/10 to against PG, and potentially 10/10.

Nobody GL's can do some impressive stuff, actually...

Jack T. Chance gave Lobo a better fight than Guy ever did.

A nobody GL contained Swamp Things essence.

Another nobody GL was giving Doomsday a pretty good fight, until he adapted beyond his ring.

And the old GL comics about random Corp members has all kinds of good feats, including stull like sealing up black holes from within..

You wouldn't? I suppose it's easier with the others I listed. John, Wog, and Guy all have their share of feats. Natu's pretty much the lowest "Lantern with a name" I could've listed. But at least a majority, yeah. And I'd probably need to be talked out of an initial opinion of 8/10.

But basically, yeah, worthwhile GL's should possess more power than PG.
