Some of the ancients are top tier mages. They are just as diverse.

How's their durability? Are they "glass cannons" aka human level durability but with excellent offensive magics or are they "tank mages" aka excellent durability and great mystic abilities (like Etrigan)?

Because if they tank mages, they take it.

Anointed One fought Superman around the world. He's more than capable of fighting Gladiator. Or the mages can simply BFR him.
