Nevin Shapiro exposes horrible corruption in Miami University

Former booster Nevin Shapiro, now serving 20 years in federal prison, claims he treated players with sex parties, nightclub outings, cars and other gifts. Shapiro told Yahoo! ( YHOO - news - people ) Sports he provided improper benefits to 72 football players and other athletes at Miami from 2002 to 2010.

"If the assertions are true, the alleged conduct at the University of Miami is an illustration of the need for serious and fundamental change in many critical aspects of college sports," NCAA president Mark Emmert said in a statement.

To me...it sounds exactly like the rumors I hear from major teams like:

Auburn
Virginia Tech
OU
LSU
A&M
Nebraska

Etc.

What's the difference? Miami got ratted out by a squealer.

It's probably because I was one injury away from playing in it.

I always get a kick out of seeing the outrage over players getting paid. lol when Miami gets punished by the corrupt institution known as the NCAA.

not news really every single college football as well as college basketball team is guilty of something they just have not been caught yet and this is coming from someone who watches both college football and college basketball games
