Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Lol, well, Hermoine02 was a bot, so clearly their opinion doesn't matter. 😛

My friend made this joke that was so funny yet mean, he said the movie was so bad that it gave that guy a seizures, he also said the guy was trying to become the spirit of vengence and thats why he fell down. I looked at him and laughed SO HARD lol so mean. But I got my money back, just wish I would have watched the ending...hate leaving a movie and not watching it to the end.

ITS LIKE THAT TIME WHEN I TOOK MY FILM FRIEND TO SEE GENTLEMEN BRONCOS AND HE WALKED AWAY FROM THE MOVIE HALFWAY...LEAVING ME BEHIND WONDERING WHERE THE HELL HE WENT.

It's finally coming to theatres in Australia.

Christ, the previews on tv really give nothing away & what they do saw is seriously mediocre...

Not a good promising start.

I understand how you must feel after spending money to see that movie but you have to face reality and accept that you got a heavy case of buyer's remorse. I went through that myself. It ain't pretty.

Unfortunately i didn't get "buyer's remorse"

just face the facts i enjoyed the movie and wouldn't be surprised if other people did too.

Oh great, so you're one of those few people then who don't care if a movie is good or not and just carelessly throw away your money to those greedy dogs back at the studios so they can make more garbage that's just as bad as those Resident Evil films?

Seriously what's your problem??..........hadn't realised i violated movie crime.....

so what if i enjoyed this particular movie i got more out of then the first movie and on top of that i have read the Ghost Rider comics

as i said in my review "its good just not perfect."

so stop trying to force your opinion on others

Well for the Resident Evil movie's they only got it for the first movie from me 😬

This movie, for me, fell in to the "so bad it's good" category. The 3d was well-executed, and I laughed a lot, even when I wasn't supposed to.

Ghost Rider fans be pissed, though.

How did you get more out of the sequel than the first? At least the first had more activity and characters people would actually like. The ones in the sequel were a mother on crack, the one son of the devil who makes me miss Wes Bently's Blackheart, some guy played by Idris Elba who is perhaps the most (and only) likeable fellow in the movie, a silly version of Blackout who was no different than Blackhearts henchmen in the first movie, the Devil who is lacking Peter Fonda (seriously, where is he), and a more hyped up-but-still-emo version of Nicholas Cage that you just want to smack when the drugs he takes kick in and nearly ruin the film entirely. Not to mention as cheesy as the first movie's script was, at least it was decent and didn't leave a lot of plot holes and PIS behind unlike the sequel and while some parts in the first movie were dragged, they were dragged even longer in SoV that gave me enough time to go to the restroom and still see the darn scene dragged when I came back and then I'm like "oh for the love of...!" Also, the ending in the first was better. The sequel's did not make sense and the final battle was lazy. "How do you beat the Devil? Throw him in a hole."

Blackheart was terrible with the first movie hell, He did'nt even go into his demon form

the Devil who is lacking Peter Fonda (seriously, where is he)

Another one that failed for me......seriously what happen with the first movie seemed like they used their budget up on the Rider's Special effects and forgot about having Mephisto looking like Mephisto

and don't get me started on Blaze's origin how much they changed it......

Blackheart was bad but better than watching that annoying brat. You didn't think I was referring he was bad?

If Ghost Rider's special effects are what exceed the movie budget, the people making these movies should really not be making them because really, as much as I love to see Ghost Rider making thugs urinate themselves, I want to see Mephisto or Blackheart let go of their human forms and start kicking ass. And if they can't get Mephisto out of human form, they should've at least brought back Peter Fonda. I thought he did good. Instead, he gets replaced by an actor who looks he could make children cry "I need an adult!"

and don't get me started on Blaze's origin how much they changed it......

Yeah I had a feeling the newbies who made the sequel hardly watched the first if they didn't know exactly how Johnny signed the contract and other things that seemed out of place in those flashbacks. Also, whatever happened to Roxanne? So what, did Johnny Blaze pull a James Bond and forget about his former love interest and go for another with no reason whatsoever? Maybe the reason why he drinks now is because he accidentally burned her alive after she jumped his bones one night.

funny..lol

well I watched this movie in 3D, I should have watched it 2D..lol The special effects weren't really that great, there weren't any good scenes where the 3d actually worked, except when he was riding the truck on fire. The movie it self lacked consistancy, starting with the camera lenses which would change when the characters would go into their own thoughts. The background settings would change also at random and you could never feel grounded to a scene, there was no real focus on the characters, which the first one offered there for you had to follow the story which was given to you.

I do not blame the actors for this bad movie; this bad movie was based on the experimental aspect to the film.

Saw it today and really enjoyed it. I agree that some of the wobble cam was jarring throughout the first ten mins but the story was fast. The acting was fine and GR himself looked great.
I understand how alot of people watch films these days, once the word gets out that a film was received badly people get on the hate train. And anyone who disagrees gets run over. But I genuinely enjoyed myself.

Ghost Rider does look more awesome than he was in the first movie but that still doesn't give this movie any justice and what makes you think I hate this movie just by hearing it was bad? Last I checked, I watched the darn thing and from that experience, I can fairly say it sucked. Scenes were dragged for too long, the actors did their jobs poorly except maybe Idris Elba, there was a bunch of PIS, the movie had humor in it that just wasn't funny (who watches GR for comedy? Honestly), Blackout sucked, and whoever wrote the script was just plain lazy.

I wasn't talking about you. But if you feel the need to vent help yourself. 😄
