M'Kraan Crystal vs. IG

There was debate on comicvine, but didn't conclude which was more powerful through logical means.

vs.

There was a person stating that M'Kraan was more powerful, because the Phoenix was guarding it and the Infinity gems were floating around the universe. 😂

There are on panel scans stating :

a) the IG only works in the universe it's native to
b) the IG gets it's power from the Power Primordial of the Big Bang (stated by Warlock)
c) the PF is another name for the Big Bang (stated by Reed)
d) the M'kraan Crystal is multiversal (it's the same Crystal throughout the Multiverse, just like the LT).

So unless any of this has been retconed, IMHO the M'kraan Crystal "wins".

and the Ultraverse...

The Crystal's fighting skills are overmatched by the Gem's craftyness IMO. I'd have to give it to the Gems.

Yea, because that was seen when the wielder of the IG had control over the 616 reality, and in turn all universes, right? 🙄

IG is more powerful, no question about it.

Dude, stop being a prick. It's not like I made any of that up. It's right there on panel. The "IG working only in it's native universe" was as recent as 2009 I believe. So unless you got something MORE recent that retcons that, I don't want to hear it.

Edit, got date wrong.

IG easy

The IG has more "powers" but it isn't more powerful. Misuse of the M'Kraan Crystal can destroy the mulitverse, and the IG is not a multiversal threat.

Those weren't the 616 gems first off, and second there was no recton of anything

The Infinity Gauntlet is a Shift Z item, while the M'Kraan according to that card is Shift X. The IG wins.

Nobody is being a prick, you're just being sensitive.

And nothing was retconned. Anyway, Thanos already showed that he had total control of the 616 reality with the gauntlet, and when you have total control of 616 you have control over all realities since all divergent realities branch from 616.

Except that can't be right. When the LT initially refused to intervene, he stated that Thanos was only a threat to one universe and he had the will to be content with it. If he truly was multiversal, the LT would have stepped in.

Incorrect. LT stated that he didn't interfere because Thanos only desired to replace Eternity with himself. He said nothing about Thanos being a threat to one more multiple universes.

Um, if you read the IG respect thread or MrMaster's heirarchy thread it's clear that the IG was a multiversal threat. Thanos just never went that far with it before he was stopped. LT interfered when Adam Warlock had it because he was going to
