Can these emotion manipulators conquer our world?

If we don't know what's waiting for us I think they can.

Yeah, they get an stealth attack for as long as they can keep it. But let's say they lose stealth after a week.

I don't know if they'd be able to maintain control, but I think its possible for them to do a massive amount of damage.

Should they somehow be able to get on the airwaves and broadcast their signal (like darkseid with the ALE) then they can do it with ease.
