Current takes 3 and thats it I think. Classic has a much greater tendency for pulling things out of his ass and a much greater variety of dieties to call on that current would need to perform a crapton of rituals to sway to his side. Also raw power wise Classic has a lot more at his disposal and as much prep as current is going to have a good chunk is going to have to be defensive just to survive let alone return fire.
