Iron Man VS Wolverine

Iron Man VS Wolverine

No prep/bfr. IM's repulsors/shields are damaged; so no flight/shields. everything else works. fight is in a forest at night.

who wins?

Uni-beam.

Bastion blasted wolverine with a huge energy beam like that during the first x-force arc; logan marched through the beam towards him (regardless of the damage he was taking) & bastion calculated the risk was too great & retreated.

Sonics to blast his hearing apart, sensors to locate him.

Then send the nanites out to attack Logan's brain and spine. Overriding his HF long enough to count as a win.

Iron Man.

Tony. Stips make things a bit difficult, as do Logan's claws and CQC skills, though.

Is his flight even dependent on repulsor tech in comics?

I know with Extremis he moved the plates of his armor around his body then clicked them into place manipulating the Inertial Dampener fields.

Kinda like Telekinesis, but by manipulating force. And is also the source of his speed blitzing and accurate movement skills. Considering he was able to shoot the armor onto his body in less than a second and zip past Sentry.

So he should still be able to maneuver around the battlefield fine. Just along the ground.

Forcefield till the air runs out.

Iron Man keeps him magnetically frozen in the air, fires a concentrated unibeam through Wolverine's eye piercing his brain and knocks him out.

Tony does something similar to this, ftw:

I-M

Iron Man, with ease.

We all know that's bullshit. We don't see him walking through Cyclop's beam. Its not about whether he can handle the damage, its the force thats blasting against him. Unless he has mid-tier or higher superstrength (e.g Colossus, who also weighs a lot), that feat doesn't make sense.

It seems large amounts of radiation over taxes his healing factor

Actually we do...

Obvious pis.

not pis...horseman wolverine was amped & knew of/studied the weak spot in scott's beam.

but as for standard logan...

there's the mr sinister arc where the x-men lost their powers; even with severe adamantium poisoning, partially skeletal, & powerless.....mr sinister's energy blasts couldn't KO logan.

logan also resisted powerful energy projection directed at him by weapon omega during the Utopia crossover; it barely even fazed logan.

How can anyone argue he wasn't amped after that and the fight with Hulk? He was hurting him with blunt force attacks like kicks. And every other person I've personally seen become a horseman was upgraded in some shape or form.
