You know, I was gonna say this wasn't true anymore because so many years have passed since that fight and Odin has done some crazy things, but it was confirmed in 2008 during the Sacred Invasion arc in Incredible Hercules :

wrong. zeus was alive, mikaboshi was just hiding inside of him and zeus didnt know,why else would zeus scream in pain when mikaboshi started to dig his way out? 😐

anyway pak confirmed it was a slight amp and that alot of that power was zeus power
