Expendables 2

The first one was decent, but the 2nd one is getting a cast so much better than part 1. Arnold and Willis are supposed to have "expanded substantial roles" and the cast adds Van Damme and Chuck Norris.

You have to wonder why....It's not like the 1st one was particularly successful or even remotely good.

The 1st one apparently had a budget of about $80mil and earned $270 in the box office.

It wasn't good, but I wouldn't say it wasn't successful.

I really liked the first one, personally, and am hoping the second one is just as good...

I wonder how jacked up Arnie is going to get?

The sequel has the potential for being better than the 1st. For starters, Stallone won't be both directing & acting.

The story/plot may have a chance of being better paced & not heavily edited as the first.

Yes Rocky 2 was good but I'm talking about the 1st Expendables where Stallone not only had to "act" but direct & juggle everybody's egos & screen time.

One thing that movie really suffered from was very bad editing.

I thought Sly did a poor job directing the first one. But he did amazing job in Rambo. Hopefully this one will be better.
