i do not anything about the new karate kid, however original Karate Kid would own midnighter and Wolverine, and sabretooth, and darth vader, and snake-eyes, and megatron. its a big list characters who can not take him

Oh, he'll have more feats, but I'm using any feat for Midnighter, here.

Well, pre reboot Midnighter was more of a match for the Wolverine/Cap, or possibly even Cass or Iron Fist tier, at best. That's good, but Val hangs with Kryptonians and Daxamites, and has overall better feats..
