I suppose I can't really reference 'old' KMC, because I joined in 2005, but I really do miss the way the forum used to be. Though I originated in the Role Play forum, which now seems to be not only dead but illiterate, I took quickly to Off Topic. Despite the egotistical jerks, the drama, the facades and the high school like 'clique-ish' nature it exuded... It was really, really entertaining. People were closer. The conversations were gratifying. The general humor was was witty and fun.

To be honest, I thought the same when I first came here. There seemed to be like 3 or 4 cliques.
It did not bother me and I liked to kind of...you know...mess with those ideas of "cliques" by jumping in all of them like we were all chums. I don't like groups isolating other groups.
Let me tell you of old KMC.
First came the sheeple with the sig forum and they worshipped the craven idol Raz. They bowed to him and appeased him, then came the sycophants and the jobsworths. With their virtual power over the sheeple. Then came Whirly, first prophet of the true judge, many false judges came and judgement day has yet to come on this forum of sheep.

I feel the same. I was only here to read a HP fan fict then I fell inlove with the OTF. People were funny, flirty and just fun to talk too. And I've always been weak and imtimidated when it comes to debating or whatever, so that kept me in the OTF.
I noticed cliques, but I attempted to talk to everyone.
I definitely have at least been around long enough to see the rise and fall in traffic, alot of times due to a ban of a huge entertainer. But ehh, shit happens.
