bitter hag

Philosophical and practical quibbles be damned, masked vigilante justice is awesome. I hope this doesn't spark a backlash. There's some legit real-life superheroes that have been contributing to their communities for years.

That Terrifica one is ridiculous though. "Here strangers, take condoms! Men are evil!" There's a name I won't utter for women who are that psychotically bitter toward men....they just have the decency not to put tights on and impose their beliefs and prejudices on others.

Where were they when we had the riots

An unfair question. Without proper training and equipment, and possibly without a clear-cut course of action, they can't be expected to take part in riot control. I'd say almost by definition, any self-styled superhero should be concerned with smaller crimes that would escape the notice of the authorities.

Some of the most successful I've seen act as unofficial informants to the police, or are very active in community service projects but not necessarily as a direct crime-stopping force. That's a far more tenable model for superhero-dom, not anything we might concoct after reading a few too many comics.

You say that but, I just can't see a Supergrass as a Superhero

Context. Who is Supergrass?

Surely an unofficial informant is a grass and if said unofficial informant is a superhero they are a by definition a 'Supergrass' 😬

I suppose his intentions are good but obviously not good enough!

I tip my hat to his courage and heart, I pray for his safety, and I hope someone makes sure he's fully thought this through.

Be awesome if he went rogue and turned into a Super-Villain because of this. ie Dark Phoenix Jones.

Quote of the week!!!

Thats strange I had a dream last night that me and my husband and my inlaws were in a car in NY and there was two kids running into the street when a car was speeding towards them. A car then came out of no where and a man that looked like Spiderman came out and saved them just in time, I was yelling and pointing and saying "He is real the rumors are true!lol it was a pretty funny dream/
