You know you really do think highly of yourself.

I haven't noticed?

quanchi
It's odd because you abandoned any and all sith/jedi when i personally came a knocking at your door.

I don't see how this and my {justified} self-esteem are mutually exclusive. That I refused to debate with you could be attributed to a number of things, including, perhaps, the reason I originally provided: I have no interest in the argument?

Well, considering the original challenge was against Palpatine in whom you wrote an entire essay on I am going to call bs on that.

I'm still not seeing the grounds for my automatic acceptance. I wrote that essay in an effort to reduce the amount of arguments about that particular character.

Perhaps we should resume actually debating this thread. Or are we waiting till the battle between HP and LOTR forces in Helms Deep is over (basically when L2 and I finish discussing)?

There is no discussion for this thread. The Harry Potter side wins.

Suppose Quanchi has nothing better to do than spread his undying love for all things Voldemort then, I guess.

To say you had no interest in representing a character you've dedicated the time to write a monster essay about is a little much. You already admitted you thought the fight went to Voldemort so I think that is the "real" reason you didn't want to participate.

Oddly enough, I haven't read this infamous essay. Anyone want to link me?

Now swear allegiance to Lord Voldemort and abandon the jedi order.

facepalm

So because I wrote an essay about Palpatine, I'm obligated to defend him in every fight regardless of the opponent and parameters? And because of my refusal to do so, my self-esteem isn't justified?

😂

So because I agreed that Palpatine/Yoda/whomever could very well lose the fight, my self-esteem is unjustified?

It's only unjustified because someone else in your win won the debate against a character you previously didn't believe it was possible against.

I also didn't ask you to defend him against Doctor Manhattan or any character just insanely unbeatable.

When did I say that it wasn't possible for Yoda or Palpatine to win?

That's the reason you gave me. You didn't feel it's a fight Palpatine can win.

He said he wasn't sure he would.

No, he didn't believe he could. I asked him more than once.

No, you didn't. In the end you didn't believe in Palpatine.

No, my exact words {in the Video Game forum} on who would win were:

"[I] would likely be inclined to argue that whichever character could move quicker would get the win. If, for example, Palpatine could instantly break Voldemort's neck, well...."

^ This does not translate to "Palpatine couldn't possibly win" and in fact indicates the exact opposite. If you're going to troll, try to do it with a measure of honesty, please.

o.O I can understand its notoriety now...and LOL at Janus's first post- what a dick move to say.

You said otherwise on msn. I also think it's foolish to think one attack is all either needs to easily defeat the other but it's all not needed here. This thread obviously died anyway but let's move on.

I don't lie about debating it's serious business.

quanchi
but let's move on.

Concession accepted.

And that, b1tches, is how it's done. 131
