John Preston can take on 3 Jason Bourne's, at once, in the following categories:
1. H2H.
2. Blades.
3. Guns.
IMO, this is unintentional spite.
H2H, I would put Preston up against Ozymandias and consider that a "good match" but Preston would probably lose in non-bladed combat against Ozy...but he would give Ozy a better challange than both Rory and Owly. I say that to show the difference between Preston and other "human level" opponents.

Nope. Ozymandias can casually hold a conversation while keeping off two very skilled fighters and actively holding back as not to kill them.Preston would be downed by just one of Ozymandias' blows(get it?), should he go all out.
And John can casually take out 6 of the future (enhanced through future computers that train them well beyond anything we can do, today (and is actually impossible as Placidty likes to point out)) world's top assassins all at once, unarmed, when they are armed. He did this all in a faster time then Ozy did anything. 🙂

Ozymandias could have repeated that same maneuver while holding a conversation with the fake Father on the need to guide humanity to save it from itself and not bothered to take the swords.
I'd also question whether those 6 swordsmen where "world top assassins", they looked like the Junior Grammaton squad, ie still in training. But yes, it was total bad-assery from Preston.
