Superman Prime and how powerful he is compared to Superman

Well to be fair, if Superman did have the power to stop Prime, and didn't, and allowed him to butcher everyone he has, he looks like a colossal jerkass who doesn't deserve to be called a hero. Sort of like why Batman is undeserving of being considered a hero for the Joker's continued existence.

For Superman to have strength even near that of Prime, he would have to be stronger than his holding back levels (Don't get me wrong, I am well-aware that Superman doesn't use his full might most of the time, and probably not against Prime) and the strength of these characters:

combined. Are you really prepared to say that? Superboy Prime easily overpowered all of those characters when a single ray of sunlight beamed onto his fingertips.

Superman outright admits he can't stop him without help. Not won't, can't.

I really don't see why this is so hard to accept. Prime is stronger than Superman, and not by a small amount. He has made Guardians look like chumps, overpowered Superman every time they fought when Prime was operating at peak capacity (And even when weakened substantially, deprived of both sunlight as well as his armour, his heat vision went through Superman's shoulder like butter), he has dominated teams of heroes, some including powerful top tiers. He can move planets so casually and quickly that the structure of the universe is altered.

Prime is portrayed as more powerful. It is that simple.

After revisiting my scans of SBP nudging that planet on another thread is kind of pointless to prove that. If He can do that so easily, Then He is stronger, how much? Don't know and why Superman never goes all out vs him is another is another topic.

Feat wise and after having analyzed the nudging of a planet there is no more point about it.

Not that your actual argument made change my point of view, as it not a real solid case, we could use the same example and show how he was defeatedby the teen titans.

What changed my stance was to see how easily he moved that planet and how consistently prime universe characters are very powerful, in the other hand we have superman moving a planet 15 times the size of earth under a red sun with help though, but is good starting point to see how much stronger he could really be.

i think superboy prime is a great character, the way he developes through the comics, how he actually blames the writers for all thats happened to him. not to mention how powerful he is...
what i dont get is why superboy prime is so powerful, powerful enough to break outta the source wall and even through dimensions, taking over different universes... why are kryptonians so much stronger in earth prime?

The editors and writers made up their own logic for this when they decided to make him a villain. His first appearance during COIE in 1985, he was no more powerful than Superman was; he was just another Superboy.

SBP powers work differently, he is at full strength as soon as he comes in contact with yellow sunlight. Sbp is more powerful than superman but not because of the examples carver used because superman can do those too. When sbp decided to blow up oa he flew so fast that none could catch up with him and that included superman.

An example of how much superman holds back... The impirex probes were giving everyone trouble and were more than a match for the other super heroes. When superman decided not to hold back he was treating them like fodder. So IMO non holding back superman - minus magic weakness and no green k can replicate what sbp did.
