Dr. Peter Venkman Vs PA3

After several nights of hearing and recording unexplained and seemingly paranormal actively, Dennis(James Franco looking dude) decides he's had enough and calls in the Ghost Busters, but due to the American recession, only Dr. Peter Venkman is left to run the dwindling business.

So it's Dr. Peter Venkman with standard GB gear

Hmmmmmm. Thats tricky.

Toby is a non ghost.

It seems to be able to shut down electrical systems too... which would have me very worried having a partially electrically powered apparatus like the positron glider/traps.

He/It's awesome TK and evil spine snapping abilities would put Venkman band in trouble, I would think.

That and Venkman's sharp tongue and fast mouth, would prompt much anger indeed from him/it..

Having said that Venkmans very cool indeed under pressure and is great at keeping levity going, and is possessed of excellent one liners and Toby feeds on fear/negativity, could Toby be starved out...?

What would happen if Toby who has a prescence enough to offer resistance/interactivity with falling dust/talcum powder/humans etc was sprayed with that positively charged moodslime from GB2? (especially with either James Brown or Jackie Wilson playing?)

Should have said for intents and purposes, Venkman's gear will work on Toby.

I don't think Venkman fears any other-worldly beings, considering he faced down Gozer and that ***** was ugly.

Fair enough. So if we accept that it works, the PKE detectors might give "Toby" away, if located at one position at any given time, too.

PA1 seems to suggest that cases of similar cases have been documented online with one case being exactly the same.

Indeed. He rarely seems to take it all seriously, save for bug blasting time.

If Venkman has his goggles and equipment he can-

1- Know where and from the demon/ghost is coming from.
2- Possibly see the ghost. Didn't they have googles that allowed them to see the ghosts in a kind of infra-red?
3- Shoot and paralize the creature while shoving a trap underneath it to suck it in.

Toby likes to toy and freak out its prey before killing em. Big mistake. The spirit won't know what hit it.

It taunts and terrorises those close to the person he is going to possess usually by way of getting the to-be-posssessed person to bend to it's will.
But if 'Toby' senses it is in danger, It could maybe just proceed to all out attack, as it does when it knows "its on" or is angered.

Well Venkman is pretty much dead if he can't blast the entity before it performs Telekinesis on him.

And Venkman has detectors that tell him where and how close the creature is getting.

So in the end this is an old fashioned gunsling showdown.
