Majestic flies into the ocean at "close to the speed of light." This causes MASSIVE tidal and shock waves that are not only visible from space, but destroy an entire city as well:

Takes the combined power of T7 just to stop Majestic from opening Pandora's Box:
(As you can see in the last scan, Maj is nowhere to be found despite the intensity of that blast-- thus he must not have been incapacitated by it.)
