what were classic Ions feats that were impressive or universe threatening etc if any??

He could have rewritten the universe according to Hal Spectre for one.

Time and space was basically his play thing.. Spectre told him he shouldn't mess around with DCU history, even though he could and avoid paradox's or potential problems.

Plus, the feats from Parallax apply to Ion by proxy, because they both had the same power source, which Ion single handedly put back into the Central Power Battery, along with resurrecting the Guardians, and even gender swapping some of them.

He had the entire central battery, just like Hal-Parallax did.

And regenerating it, along with the Guardians is easily a Skyfather level feat.

Especially considering what Ganthet alone did in Rebirth.
