Zabuza Momochi vs Guy Maito

Lets reverse the rolls of Team Kakashi with Team Guy. 🙂 Guy and his team go to the land of waves to protect Tazuna. The fight starts on the Great Naruto Bridge. Guy, Neji, Tenten and Lee are at there Chunin exam levels. Do they pull it off against Haku and Zabuza???

Is Lee taking the Naruto road and showing up late?

Guy is at a bigger disadvantage than Kakashi was. Neji *might* be a better match against Haku though.

It's hard to tell, honestly.

We have no idea how strong Guy was in part 1.

In part 2 though, he has feats that would enable him to decisively beat Zabuza.

At the cost of the bridge that is being built maybe. 😛

Ah. Then Zabuza and Haku take it. Lee is out of character so Haku will not be merciful. He will kill Neji, Tenten, and maybe Lee, who would need the Gates to win. Zabuza will kill Tazuna and could probably kill Guy.

Guy Solos.

He kills them both quickly and decisively and the entire arc ends in 3 chapters.

gai just acts like a tard, but he's pretty much holding back a lot of power.
nunchuckus is all gai really needs, gates could help if he got caught with haku's kekkai genkei but then again neji is almost built to shit on that guy.

not sure if the mist technique can be seen through by byakugan, iirc they even had trouble vs edo zabuza but i may be mistaken

Byakugan would probably see through the Mist. But Neji would likely be too busy fighting Haku to help Guy see. Guy not being able to see makes it nearly impossible for him to win.

okay. according to the wiki the mist only tricks the sharingan cause it sees the mist as one big blob of that individual's chackra rendering the tech user indistinguishable within it. the byakugan supposedly doesn't share this problem, but i'd rather see this on-panel

Also, I see the mist as an advantage for Guy. He's better at fighting without looking...lol.

Since Zabu does not have x-ray eyes...isn't he just as visually affected by the mist? His advantage is his training for killing inside the mist...such as listening for his foes and memorizing their positions before creating the mist. So if a ninja...get this...silently moves in the mist, Zabuza just created a death trap for himself in the mist...if he goes up against Neji.

The idea is that Zabuza can detect any trace of sound the opponent makes.

Not that it matters, if this is current Guy vs. Zabuza, Zabuza has no chance.

Guy is a horrible match-up for Zabuza, whose main selling points are his strength, speed, and Taijutsu, along with Mist.

The first three Guy is superior to Zabuza in.

Not that I consider it impossible for Guy to take a hit from Zabuza.

I will note how much more useful Tenten is than Sakura, in that she'll be helpful here.

Rather than Haku being a 2-on-1 fight, it's a 3-on-1.

I dunno. Haku is faster than the eye can see. He could probably kill her quickly enough.

She's got a quite reasonable speed of 3, and is used to fighting at range, so she won't get fatal hits too quickly. Tenten's also smart enough to avoid getting inside the mirrors if she can help it.

Plus I'm just thinking, that's in addition to the two bigger threats. It's not like she'd draw most of Haku's attention of the trio.

Why wouldn't Neji's spinny thingie destroy the mirrors?

Wouldn't someone need to be watching Tazuna during all of this?
