Morbius vs Archangel

Who wins?

Which Archangel? He's all over the place.

If by Archangel you mean Warren as he was during the time of the Inferno event (that's when they first called him Archangel too btw 😄), he slaughters Morbius. Stuns him with his feather darts then cuts him in half using his wings. Fights over.

after reading his solo series, he's pretty beastly. Takes on Spiderman and flies too fast for Spiderman to react to without his spidersense. He also has pretty powerful telepathy.

Phoenix's powers wouldn't work on him because he's Apocalypse. Then he pretended to be normal long enough for Holocaust to blast Wolverine. He gashed Sabretooth but Morbius has healed from wounds like that in seconds, in fact he would probably just morph around it.

So what about that sequence proves he would be Morbius?

no, he tricked wolverine into attempting to slay him knowing he would not only be unharmed but he could also counterattack. morbius can't do jack

as for his advanced body morphing, he lost it

So what about tricking Wolverine means he would beat Morbius?

Wolverine didn't attack him and the blast didn't come from Archangel...Archangel has been nearly killed several times throughout the arc and he's always saved by his teammates not wanting to kill him. Psylocke almost ended this arc a couple of issues ago.

When did he lose the body morphing?

it means morbius can't use his claws or teeth, his ...only real weapons outside of telepathy that won't work

yeah actually it did. as you'll see here, archangel left genocide when he went for the life seed upon the other platform.

(note* archangel tanks unchecked energies that have razed an entire town to nothing among other feats that spells defeat for morbius )

2. Archangel shocked him with something? Since when can he do that?

3. Fantomex seems capable of taking him on 1-on-1 he just had no means of harming him. Morbius has great blast durability but he's been sliced and cut open fairly often. If Morbius lands a bite it's over.

I'm pretty sure in a comic Morbius would lose but in a forum fight he should be able to take a couple of wins, not the majority.

I may be wrong, but I think he means that the claws and teeth won't do anything thanks to warren's wings being able to block with no negative affect. And being capable of blocking his whole body while also striking.

That makes sense.

But opponents have been able to get around his wings pretty often, due to CIS and his arrogance in my opinion.

morbius would be fodder in a comic, in a forum fight he get's archangel's undivided attention. Poor guy

archangel's wings have pwned three of the most lethal CQC fighters in comics In one stroke, let's not give morbius too much credit
