Who wins in the above both separate battles and both battle at their best whose the victor and why?

How did you come to that conclusion? IIRC, Chaos King had the edge near the end (Then Thor intervened) but Hercules held his own for the most part, he definitely didn't get steamrolled. They were peers from what I remember.

Chaos King had the advantage most of the fight. But Herc was far from helpless against him.
