Cosigned, both Annihilation and the Sinestro Corps War were the most solid events that both companies have done in a while now.

...Yet Chaos War was more cosmic than Annihilation and bigger than the Infinity Guantlet!

Chaos War was pointless and Sinestro Corps wasn't a true event.

Chaos War was shit, and Sinestro Corps just didn't have a numerical value to it. But it was the subject of many crossovers.

Certainly an event.

Annihilation is the only real good Marvel event in a long time. Sinestro Corps is the only real good DC event in a long time. Even ground really.
Even the much hyped Final Crisis was shit. Not to say there weren't decent events, but there's only been two great ones.

Meh, the sad part is events contained within their own series have shit on the big hyped ones.

Technically anything could be an event. Batman has a mini event coming up with the Court, but DC just ran with SC. They didn't plan on it being so big. It wasn't a hype machine until later, I believe.

Sinestro Corps War was an event. It was Green Lantern centric and crossed over with GL Corps and had plenty of one shots and the like, but it was an event all the same.

Just like I said, anything could be considered an event. But not the same way Blackest Night was or Civil War. Just on a smaller scale.

To say the least.

It was plain shit.

And not only it was godawful, but it ruined Hercules, and made Galactus look like a tool.

Un-****in-forgivable.

It was to Pak what Rulk is to Loeb.

Are you making an argument about big events sucking in general? Because the optic of Sinestro Corps not being an event it's lost from the moment there were tie ins. Tell me which random ongoing arc gets tie ins from the kicks and I will point you towards another event.

• Captain Marvel reborn to unite all Kree!
• Captain Marvel, The Protector and Ms. Marvel vs The Avengers!
• Who is Minister Marvel and why has he drawn the Phoenix to the Kree homeworld?

Judging from the costume, it looks very much like Hulkling's costume as Captain Marvel from that look into the future during the Young Avengers mini. I really hope it's Mar-Vell, though...

Let it be Genis, let it be Genis...

Saved the world by teleporting the Wasp into Underspace, killed the Void, killed the Serpent and now looks like his going to kill the Phoenix.

😈

Also killed Glory during Chaos War. So yes, Phoenix is gonna get killed again.

It would will be Genis if it's a true ressurection. Mar-Vell ain't coming back. Let's keep it that way. We don't need another Barry Allen.

From what one writer stated about Mar-Vell's death, its one of those deaths that shouldn't be undone.

7 page preview.

Did you see that dialogue? "A rather vague but alarming warning". Lulz.

Bendis' dialogue is all just a blur to me at this point. It's the only way I can stomach reading his shit, if I actually took it in, I'd have to stop out of like principle because of this stuff:

"There has to be -- There has to be a reason the Phoenix keeps coming back to us. Here. To us. Looking. Looking for something. Why does it keep coming back to us?"
