Avengers vs. X-Men - 2012 Marvel Event

Iron Man vs Magneto and Thing vs Namor seem to be round one.

IM vs Magneto: i wanna give the edge to Magneto for obvious reasons but Tony might already have an answer for him. Depending on the writer I guess.

Namor vs Thing: I don't see Thing winning this one.

im going Namor and magneto most likely but like you said Iron Man probably has an answer for mags. I mean being that smart he had to have thought that he might need a magneto counter measure at some point.....

I'd assume Namor and Ben have fought a number of times already. Too bad Piotr chickened out of facing Ben by hiding in the skirts of Cyttorrak.

Ironman should beat Magneto. Metal isn't a factor here due to Anti-Magnetic fields. Tony is fast as heck and strong enough to punch Erik's head off in a micro second. Though comics tend to ignore feats Tony better win this.

He used a freaking EMP when he fought Cable. Unless the writers ignore that, it should be a no brainer.

Iron Man used plastic armor recently when he was in the same room with Magneto during Magneto's "Not a Hero" mini. Given his know how and tech, I can't see him fighting Magneto and allowing his armor to be turned against him so easily (assuming, of course, he's prepared for him). Magneto is still possessed with greater raw power, but somehow, I don't see him stomping Tony.

Why are they fighting exactly?

Riiiight...I think you mean posts, it's plural. And it's You're.

Anyway...from the looks of things it looks like wolverine sides with the X-men and then maybe he changes his mind. We got him fighting Cap but then he's fighting members of the X-men as well.
