Kindle vs Nook

Planning on getting my girlfriend a e-reader for xmas n wonder which is better the kindle fire or Nook color for $200. How do they compare n what's the differences between them?

Or is it really worth an extra $50 for the Nook tablet? What are the advantages of it to account for the extra $?

You know there are websites fully devoted to comparing and giving opinions, which would be superior to the opinions you'd get here.

Topolsky is the god of tech news, Engadget is the poor hobo down the street that sifts through his shit and regurgitates it on their site hours later.

I've seriously seen days old news on Engadget. And then I comment on how the Verge is better and my comment is deleted after like 20 likes haermm
