To do a sort of "sympathy for the devil" kind of thing, I would point out, at the very basic, there is a point to what Zeal is saying. The media does have dominant narratives that see some groups get larger amounts of publicity for their actions than do others, and in a limited 1-to-1 comparison, it is strange that cases such as the one he brought up don't get as much attention as the individual cases involving individual catholic priests.
Obviously I don't think it is any "racial" conspiracy, but I'd just say not to throw the baby out with the bath water. For instance, even Chomsky suggests that Jews use their position as holocaust survivors to manipulate their media representation.
