So far Superman has:

Shown himself either highly resistant, or been straight up immune to: Tear gas, sonics, tasers, Nerve toxin, extreme heat and cold.

He's fast enough to catch a bullet, and of course tag a younger Barry.

Strength wise his only real feats are stopping the train, smashing an inexperienced Hal's constructs, and using that truck to lay waste to the parademon army.

Impressive, yes, but he needs MOAR!

Unless Johns went crazy with the retcons again, even an inexperienced Hal was good enough to take down Sinestro.

I wouldn't be surprised if Johns retconed Hal's wins over Sinestro so that they were draws or heavily relied on plot device/context.
