SITHMAS 2011 - DARK SIDE - Presents from Starguard

Started by Lord Melkor20 pages

Gallador is also there!

How about getting some kind of vehicle to pilot and using force to navigate?

My bad, Gallador! You could try searching around for a skiff or something. Observation to check about.

Rianna- a purely acrobatic pitch as you jump from roof-to-roof. Agility it is.

Azarl wants to try something similar to Gallador and find his own skiff.

Rand is going to rely on his power in the Force to guide him to his destination, taking the walkways between the buildings and going ask quick as he can.

Are we supposed to cooperate in this contest? Gallador could join forces with Azarl.

Well Xavier will download the coordinates or save them in something then go find a speeder in the starport. I figure everygood starport or watch tower has some kind of taxi like service.

Then he'll put coordinates and fly off. There shouldn't be too much traffic since everything is shut down.

Dak will take the rooftop route. Is there like a parking garage or something?

Well, you know. Agility Queen here. I'm also counting on being high up allowing me to keep the warehouse within sight as much as possible.

Are we allowed to sabotage each other 😛

You can cooperate if you want!

-

I have three looking for speeders- Xavier, Azarl, and Gallador. That will all be Observation rolls.

Rianna and Dak are going over the roofs. Agility rolls, of course.

Just need a confirmation on Rand, Relle, and Con.

-

Dak- it'd be Observation to find a parking garage.

Relle scoffs at Rianna's claim as Agility Queen and will be taking the rooftops herself.

Then tack Relle on for jumpy jump route, while Rand is going to be exploring with the Force to show him the right way there.

In all cases... you will be pitching just how much of an effort you want to make here. The lowest you can pitch a difficulty of one successes. The higher you pitch, the greater your gain and the farther you go. But if you fail to meet your pitch, you won't go anywhere at all.

For those searching for speeders, this also applies- the crappier your speeder, the easier it is to find.

Xavier will spend a little time looking for a better quality Speeder but not too much. So about medium 😛

Rianna will go for two successes to start out, and see where that gets her.

"Do we want to try and work together to beat the others there? Or is it everyone for themselves?" she asks Dak and Relle.

And I have seniority, so hah! Rianna is the Agility Queen 😛

My pitch is to find a speeder, take it to the top of a parking garage, and then drive it over the rooftops to the warehouse.

A decent speeder, and try three successes.

"That depends," Dak says to Rianna, "Want a ride?"

Actually instead of wondering around aimlessly Xavier will use the computer he's already gotten into to see where the best speeders are

Going to be difficult without Pilot, Dak.

Observation to find a terminal, Xavier, then Fix-It to get into the warehouse logs.

-

Does anyone want their results sent in private?

True enough I suppose. I'll just go running then.

And cooperating with Rianna and Relle sounds good for now.

"Let's skip driving, I'm sure we can run faster..." Rianna replies.

So, let's begin!

All of you need to meet a total of 25 successes toward your race to the warehouse. You can make bids for how difficult you want your roll to be. If you meet your bid, the amount you bet is added to your total successes for the round!

First up, we have Gallador and Azarl physically hunting about for a speeder of some sort. Gallador comes up with nothing... but Azarl rolls three successes and finds a two-man racer! Ooo...

Xavier finds himself a console and rolls two successes on Fix-It as he searches the system for something he wants. He manages to locate the registry for a one-man speeder bike nearby.

Rianna, Dak, and Relle are going over the rooftops. As this is jumping from building to building, they will get their Leaping bonuses!

Rianna bid two successes. All too easy. She gets four successes, for a total of 6 points.

Dak and Relle bid nothing, so I'll give them the lowest bid of 1. Dak does that easy, for a total of 5 points.

Relle can be horribly embarrassed at having rolled absolutely nothing. She almost trips over some railing or something while jumping to another roof.

Rand is counting on the Force to show him the way. He scurries from walkway to walkway, stopping occasionally to double-check his senses. Knowing where it is helps, as does Rand's tremendous Force rating. He takes the lowest bid (having bet nothing) and shows three successes. A score of 4, not bad.

THE GAME

Rianna is in the lead! Relle is in last.

First number is successes made toward getting to the warehouse. Second number is your score overall.

Rianna will go for three successes this time, continuing her agile roof-hopping.
