if thor doesnt bfr, general would likely win.
Agreed. And General isn't just going to stand there while Thor tries either. There's a reason Thor needed a distraction when he teleported Juggernaut in their first confrontation, as it's very difficult to focus on exotic powers when you're being mauled.
Even Superman, for all his speed and mobility, wasn't going anywhere once General got his hands on him.

Didn't Thor teleported Juggernaut in their second encounter without any distraction?

No, he threw the hammer to the moon with Juggernauts arm caught up in the chain.
He could do the same to General, but not if he gets ahold of Thor with those giant hands, like he did against Superman.
For the record, Thor's battle field removed beings with a bolt of energy, a giant whirlwind that's teleported anything in the vicinity that his wanted and so on.
And like Igniz mentioned, he could just hit the General hard enough to temporarily drop him, then battle field remove him.
There's also a chance that Thor would just stick to close combat, or resort to energy based attacks. Hard to narrow down what he'll do; he consistently brawls with the Hulk but sooner or later, he gets exotic with other high end bricks like Destroyer/Mangog/Juggernaut.
Hulks actually more realistically proportioned than this guy is. At least Hulk and Thor are of comparable size where Thor could throw him around, grapple him, or knock him off him.
But with the Generals insane size advantage, I believe he'll give Thor more trouble than Hulk ever has, if he manages to grab him like that.
Yea, the General's large size will greatly unbalance Thor. It isn't as if he grew up facing giants or has a history of facing huge entities of monstrous power or anything......

On a more serious note, I'm pretty sure I've seen even Ulik depicted as similarly bulky or close to it. It's a plus for the General but if there's any character that can handle being at a size disadvantage, it's Thor.
I forgot how much of a ***** his healing factor is. Thor would have to incinerate him or something to take him out.
