hmmmmmm, does this mean that mjolnir has a mind of its own when thor is flying or swinging it at lightspeed, its an enchanted hammer not a supercomputer.

There's more than enough examples out there of Superman simply using his speed to avoid getting hit. Even the Byrne era had him taking on laser shooting cyborgs, and Supes thinking to himself that he'd better simply avoid all the shots, instead of risking testing his invulnerability against them.

And of course, there's his fight with Mongul in Ending Battle.
