Actually if I remember correctly, they both ended up as heads. Then the Mask got a whole new body out of nowhere and used a funnel to make Lobo literally eat his own words. The Mask won the encounter.

But in a later encounter, Lobo hit mask with an acme style "Guilt Grenade", and this happened:
