Mephisto vs Dormmamu...

yeah, not sure of all that origin holds true still. but it was AFTER that last scan, once mephisto gets free, that he gets PISSED and threatens and challenges dormmy though so those scans are NOT the end of that story.... ultimately, btw, mephisto wins in that arc.

That's why I was asking was it retconned. It's likely that Doramammu being his arrogant self, may have just taken the credit for his existence through spoken word although I do believe Satannish was indebted to Doramammu due to some sort of pact made eons ago. Would you happen to have Satannishs' handbook entry?

If this was indeed not retconned, then it shows Dormammu's superiority over both Satanish and Mephisto. It shows Mephisto could only previously manage a stalemate with a being who was basically being used as a pawn for Doramammu.

Furthermore, it took the combined effort of Hela/Pluto/AND Mephisto to freeze over the hell realm to make Doramammu retreat (more acknowledgement of superiority) which in itself was kinda PISlike. He got weaker in the absence of fire. The kind not even native to the DD, Flames of the Faltine. 🤨
