Prop 8 Under Fire

The 9th Circuit court has just ruled, preliminarily, that Prop 8 violates the Constitutional rights of Californians. Next it goes to the full 9th Circuit and then it's probably going to end up at the Supreme Court.

Good. Civil rights should never be up for vote, anyways. Bigots and idiots shouldn't be allowed to decide the rights of minorities.

One of those Mothers groups (which strangely enough are often hate lobbies) was just a few days ago demanding that LL Bean fire Ellen Degeneres...not because she's Lesbian...but because she "flaunts" it.

As if there's an effective difference that matters to any sane person.

They better legalize polygamy next. Freedom and all.

Two things that are flawed with Prop 8.
1) Separation of church and state. Should not be a legal matter, neither should marriage at all.

2) Disallowing rights to a minority group because they are 'different,' and are not given equal opportunity. Ring a bell?
