Yeah once they killed Kennedy that bastard Lyndon Johnson took us off silver and put us back where were were to begin with and thanks to that bastard,our money is backed by worthless paper now.
When JFK backed our money by silver,there were some dollars that got printed out that said United States Notes on them.they were backed by silver.Now of course they say Federal Reserve Notes on them and the fed owns them which is why we have constant inflation since the dollar is backed by worthless paper.
Lincoln also tried to get our money backed by real money as well and just like JFK,also paid the price for trying to do so.
