So nothing has really changed. New day, same outcome.
Except for the fact that Thanos has become more powerful than he was in 2012? Not really the same outcome. Thanos would have had to hit Gladiator at least 7-12 times before he died back then, and now he'd smoke him with a punch.
How can I make such a bold claim? Well Thanos beat Dione nearly to death, and Dione blasted Galactus' head clean off after killing all of the Heroes on Marvel Earth. He also had Galactus running in fear for his life.
Gladiator is a light weight in comparison.

Why is that? Even though Thanks erased that possible future, it still existed. Or are you talking about something else?
As in, we have no idea what the path he took to get to that point, so I personally wouldn't use it.
Like using Golden Superman 1M feats for current Superman, if they had flashbacks for Gold Superman (if you see what I mean).
Let's say current Thanos is at time T =0. He kills Galactus' at time T=10 (i.e. ten years from now. Or T=5, 2, whatever).
What happened in between now and killing Big G? We can't say for certain. Maybe he amped himself up. Maybe he weakened G just before. Maybe..you see what I mean?

Oh, but that doesn't take away from the fac thatt Thanos physically beat the he'll out of Dione. , which is something that Thanos was unable to do several tears ago. This tells me that he would destroy Gladiator.
Originally posted by DarkSaint85it was stated his power grew with his age, the older he became the more powerful he become.

So he became more powerful...but his base self (i.e. Thanos at time T=0) is able to beat him half to death (and Old Thanos at time T=10 or whatever specifically said he wasn't going to make it easy)?
Not having a go, but that sounds like a shit power up if you get stronger with age but your younger weaker self is still able to beat you up...
Originally posted by DarkSaint85I see what you mean. But the whole “not making it easy” part just seemed to mean OKT Thanos fought back a little bit then just let himself get beat down eventually.

Well they did have a conflict when they first met, and Thanos was slapped back with ease. Perhaps Dione went easy on him, or simply wanted to be defeated and removed from existence? It would make sense... I mean who'd want to live in a dead end future like the one that Dione created?
All the same, Gladiator lacks the feats to stand up to any version of Thanos that wasn't in a weakened state.
