USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE VI (LIGHT SIDE)- Missing Links

...which actually opens up another possibility: get a search warrant. We have the words of several Jedi that there is a Sith connection here. It's probably enough to acquire a warrant.

Beats sneaking in, at least. My other suggestions remain viable, depending on what we decide to do.

...

Ush, I'd like to inquire into obtaining a search warrant for Lennah's business and belongings, on the grounds that we believe he has been colluding with Sith in his dealings. I have a Contact who is a Coruscant PI that I haven't tapped yet if it speeds up the process.

I'm also relatively sure we could get the Council's backing first if needed, yeah?

If others don't like this, we don't have to follow through on it. Just trying to do the preliminary inquiries if we decide to pursue it.

Sadly, no grounds to get a warrant on his business. No evidence of criminal activity, and even the hearsay is simply that Lennah went searching for an ancient book- not indictable even if proven.

He is a person of interest but at this point not a suspect in any crime.

(Can we search or ask around for any other major ancient artifact collectors? Big-Time collectors of any particular category of items typically are known amongst each other in their hobbies. Wether competitors, collaborators, traders or rivals, or just braggers, I've seen it commonly in many collecting hobbies. Someone else might have just a little more information on Lennah that might be useful.)

(sorry for being offline the last weeks)

I get this big "the wizard of oz"-feeling... is he real if no one sees him?

Anyway, if you drop some clue in the message we are sending that we know about his connection with Kuylen, perhaps he'll contact us faster?

That might be the case. If we relay that we are looking to speak with him about the Scrolls of Bandomino he might be a little more responsive than he tends to be.

If we had the resources we can watch his businesses and finantial transactoions of his companys after we send the message to see if any of them make any sudden unexpected moves or purchases.

As far as Lennah's type of collecting is concerned, these people are very rare and difficult to find. The only one you know is Ascar, and his collecting days seem to be over.

Remember, you have no means of sending him a message, and even the unreliable technique explained to you earlier delays you by weeks.

Lennah must be found, and speed may be relevant.

Maybe Count Dooku can help?

Oh, he's way out of reach.

Senator Palpatine?

You mean Supreme Chancellor- and how would he help?

This isn't really a political matter, though I'm sure Lennah dabbles in politics himself.

Vera-Kin is going to Scan the representative.

"What if there is an emergency?" Vera-Kin asks. "Are you really forced to wait a month for a response on something that needs immediate answers?"

Nothing significant.

"That's up to Mr. Lennah, of course," he says.

Perhaps he is monitoring the building or the executives room or something so that when there is something important he can immediately act instead of using his once a month reply?

The representative explains that Lennah always has access to the computer systems, wherever he goes. He presumably keeps track of events if they are important.

"Mr. Lennah designed the security system himself," he adds. "He's quite the expert in that area."

"So Mr. Lennah may even be watching us presently," Jelena says, checking to see if there are any cameras in the area.

Gallagher strongly thinks that we should avoid using Saar again. We don't want to anger Doctor Thule more than we need to. He could cut us off from that source.

And I think we're just calling the representative, Jelena. We're not actually there, unless I'm mistaken.

He could be monitoring the message I guess.

No matter how clever he is, constant live monitoring would leave something you could trace. You doubt he is that plugged in. The reason you were tol you cannot trace him is that he only makes periodic contact with the systems here and all logs are then deleted.

so if we tap in and wait till he takes a look, we can backtrace it...
if we can somehow urge him to take a look when we are there, we have instant access, no?

Just have to figure out where we stand legally 'cause I'm quite sure such actions are not really Jedi-like?

He'd likely only have to be in for a brief moment- no time for a trace.
