Yeah, it's not a good film. Doesn't hold up well. Very dated, mostly due to fu#king Wang Chung.

Is it legitimately a good movie?

I didn't think To Live And Die In L.A. was good at all. And it has good reviews and whatnot. It's terribly dated, simply does not hold up.

It is a good film, yeah 👆

The way I see it, one should stay away from that movie only if cannot stomach prison films at all (it's not a genre for everyone, after all) or Dafoe himself.

He is an excellent protagonist in Animal Factory and carries the film all by himself.

Excellent. I'm looking forward to it. Shawshank with Dafoe?! I'm in!

And it's directed by Steve Buscemi! 😄

Also featuring some other familiar faces like the kid from T2.
