The funny thing about it is he wasn't really even fighting them per se. He was kinda just standing there mildly annoyed as they attacked him while he was looking for Nebula. At one point he even turned his back and mocked them as they blasted him Lmao.
Having said that, Thanos beats him in both feats and showings. SN was portrayed to be uber, but a lot of it is projection (albeit very reasonable) of where we think he may be on the totem pole.
not really, thanos' high end feats are really beyond supernova's.
the rot is an abstract and due to its unique nature even death herself can't affect it directly, and thanos along with death manage to dissolve it and then thanos ends it with a universal explosion:

that's certainly beyond anything supernova has done.
This is a good fight.
SN was a team wrecker for sure, but then again so is Thanos. I'm going with Thanos simply because he's gone up against Skyfather level beings and survived.
But in SN's favor, he went up against the East/West Coast Avengers, Quasar, Firelord, and the Fantatic Four and they did nothing to him.
It could go either way honestly.

ALL high heralds that went up against skyfathers survived. That's not a big feat.
You must prove that Thanos can hurt the opponent in order for him to win.
Bottomline: Any high herald could hurt Thanos on average. But SN didn't even seem to be able to get hurt. I don't see Thanos winning this one.

Thanos stood up to prolonged attacks by Marvel's elite Skyfather and wasn't visibly damaged (except for some singed clothing). Thanos has survived blasts from Tyrant and an insane Cube Being. Thanos' shields put an angry Galactus' blasts to the the test and allowed him to survive Omega's energy assault.

Thanos was damaged because of he fell out. Bran would say the feat doesn't count since Thanos clothes wasn't damaged. Or just that you can't gauge damage because of the inconsistency of the clothes not being damaged.
Odin vs. Thanos was shitty writing anyway. You using that one feat as a basis of Thanos power. Shame on you.
Gladiator survived and wasn't koed from a Tyrant blast. Tyrant isn't all that anyway dude. Odin is better IMO.
The Cube Being wasn't that powerful. Didn't others survived the attack too?
Thanos shields can't stand up indefinitely. They will go down. Also Thanos doesn't raise shields all the time during battle.
The problem is proving Thanos output power. You speak of his durability which is well known. But does he have the power to even harm SN? He did jack shit to Odin.
