Funniest Dark Comedy

what's the funniest dark comedy you've seen.

I ask this question after just watch Botched which was hilarious

Never heard of this Botched. I'll have to look it up...

It's been a long time since I've seen it, but it immediately came to mind: Death to Smoochy.

All-time faves of mine (I'd consider them dark comedy):

Dr. Strangelove
Pulp Fiction
Evil Dead II

Stephen Dorff plays a thief who trys to steal a antique out of a building. not knowing the building is a serial killers lair.

its on Demand in TMC section

Ummm ghost world
art school confidential
Charlie Bartlett
Bad Girls from Valley High
the trotsky
Dummy
The Extra Man... My personal fav

i thought royal tennenbaums was great..

There's been so many...
The only two that come to mind are Heathers & Raising Arizona.

Definitely The Royal Tennenbaums. And O Brother, Where Art Thou. But I don't know if that's officially a dark comedy, but it's tongue-in-cheek, which is somewhere on the line that intersects with dark comedies....?

Yeah, that one was a surprise. I did not think it would be that entertaining. Why was I laughing at the jibs made at a person that almost succeeded in committing suicide? Good dark comedy, imo.

Bliss

Spanking The Monkey.
An "underground" film that came out in '94.
It's one of those movies that you want to laugh out loud but at the same time you're worried your girlfriend will look at you differently.

Grosse Pointe Blank.

It's got a dash of romance but it still makes light of bad things while remaining funny.

(make a sequel Cusack, make a sequel....)

The Mist. BEST ENDING EVER.

Have you seen War Inc. with Cusack?

The humour is just as black as Grosse Point.

No, not yet. I have heard it being called the unofficial GPB 2 but that's not enough. I sort have lost interest with Cusack, I don't watch his full-on rom-coms, last two movies I watched of his were 'The Contract' (entertaining enough), and '2012' (special effects amazing, characters awful).

A sequel to GPB could always work, doesn't even have to be referenced to Grosse Pointe, just tweak the title a bit and get Minnie Driver and Joan Cusack back for support. Going from the events of the first film

Spoiler:
Martin still has a contract on him for killing Budro the dog and the federal government will be pursuing him for the two agents that he killed. Or even the CIA who trained him could kidnap Debbie and force Martin to do a highly sensitive hit on someone.

It could be any of that and still contain the same humour, but I'll make a mental note to look out for War Inc.

The highest on my list would have to be Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove.
