Sock, short for Sock Puppet, is a person who has been banned and has come back under a different guise. Also someone who has NOT been banned and creates a new fake account usually to troll and torment others while remaining with a squeeky clean record on their default account.

Ah. Well that's not me. Malkaedus?? (I always spell his name wrong - he's got the terminator avatar) is my friend from work. He's only posted like twice or something like that, but if you see him around he's not a sock either.
