also there is no need for marvel to rush things. they have a plan for their films and it is working

Yeah, but if they don't shoot until June, that early April 2014 release is out the window and they have to find a new one. Guardians Of The Galaxy comes out that August. Don't know who's got dibs on Memorial Day or 4th of July next year...

This news that Robert Redford is joining the cast as a senior SHIELD official...classy bit of casting. What comic character could he be playing?

Thought I'd mention here that GSP has apparently been cast as Batroc the Leaper in this movie, for those who didn't know lol

^Yes, and here's hoping he goes just by Batroc, and wears something functional. Hopefully GSP can do for Batroc what Ray Park did for Toad, back in the first X-Men.

How many villains does it make for this film, now? Arnim Zola, Batroc...and Crossbones too? Is that right? Plus Bucky will be the brainwashed Winter Soldier for much of the film, probably.

Redford is playing Alexander Goodwin Pierce.

Obviously will be a lot different due to Redford's age. He can't be a one-time protege to Nick Fury in this.

Looks like some re-designs of Steve's suit are coming. That works for me; his modern day suit for Avengers just wasn't as cool or functional looking as his WW2 suit.

The helmet is the most crucial part. It's what makes it look more like a functioning uniform than a costume.

Looks more like his agent of shield suit. I just want them to keep it as much like his classic look as possible.

great conceptual art.. hopefully marvel will release a still or two of Evans wearing the new suit on set

I like the Heroic Age/Commander Rogers costume, but if they're going that route, they may as well drop the helmet.

Though, personally, I do like the stripes.
