China VS Norway

So, apparently China intends to join the Arctic Council to search for alternative energy sources and trade routes in the Arctic region.

But in order to do so, the 8 member countries should all agree. And it seems likely Norway will vote NO, in light of the Nobel Prize issue.

Norway is an economic giant itself, despite the fact it is less than 1/4 the size of Shanghai.
China accounts for only 2% of import income for Norway.

What do you think about the issue?
I think China's over-control will not be favored by Norway, and will be denied the membership.

China has no reason being in the Arctic Council, assuming it's just for Arctic nations.

I really doubt anyone will seriously challenge Norway in the Council, except maybe Russia.

The only nation that MIGHT vote yes for China is Russia, and that's iffy because while Russia and China seem to have each others' backs for the most part they probably don't want any more competition than there already is.

Dunno about that I heard they keep those sort of people under control, heard it was worse in Sweden. Yea they do have a problem with racism though, I don't think they have a strong history of immigration but I don't think that is because Norway is an inherently racist country.

China will simply do what it wants to do.
