Moviebob didn't like it.

But he did say Kate Beckinsale was hot in it, so it might still be worth it.... mmm

she is the only reason im seeing it

Wasn't very good, found myself bored many a moment. Both chicks were nice eye-candy and they alluded to it being a fantasy more so than reality, imo.

Yeah, just from the way it looks on the trailer and the poor reviews it's gotten, i'm definitely not gonna spend full price on this.

I'll be honest, I just saw it and I loved it. Absolutely. I'm not sure why some people are so annoyed/bored with it, considering it's a solid action film with incredible sci-fi dystopian elements. The atmosphere was utterly amazing. I too saw the reviews and the nay-saying, but I went anyways. And it was worth the time and money.

Need MOAR opinions.

I don't typically go for re-makes but I do want to see this. IDK I just think it looks sweet! Anyone that's seen it think I should go see it?

Tbh, why would you pay 10 bucks just to see a movie that your not interested in just for her. Plenty of free porn out there man. And imo, shes slightly over-rated and doesn't appear nude in the movie. Just saying is all....

Yes. A thousand times yes. Don't listen to the internet talk. Form your own opinion, and see a good sci-fi action flick.

Have to wait until next month for this one.

It's worth the price of a matinee, not the $11.00 I spend.

This remake is supposed to follow the short story closer than the original movie.

Actually, everything I've seen about the movie prior to watching it claimed the opposite.

Really, because that's exactly what Jessica Biel said in one of her interviews.

And then you have the people who are fans of the first adaptaion saying not watching this remake and saying silly things such as there's no going to Mars.

Saw this last night. I have to say it's better than I thought it would be. Visually it's probably the best movie of the year. The city scape is astonishing. In terms of plot it's like they wrote a script and only at the end did someone point out it was very much like Total Recall and so they changed some bits around to make it a loose remake.

I can't say I was disappointed as I thought it was going to be dreadful.

Tons and tons of subtle homages to other sci-fi movies. The Matrix, Star Wars, I Robot, Blade Runner and more.

Also a nod to the old movie with the woman with the 3 **** and the famous "two weeeeeks" woman.

All in I'd give it a 6.5/10.

Worth seeing on the big screen for the visuals alone.

From what i read Len Wiseman wanted this one based more on the story by Philip K Dick thats why its lil different

went and seen this a while back and enjoyed it, I don't think this remake is better then the original or anything along those lines they're both good in their own way.

Haven't read it so couldn't comment on how close it is to the 1st film suffice to say it's very different in terms of where it is set. Decent enough though. A lot better than I thought it would be.

I prefer old version.
